“Should we stay or should we go”? This is what Morison KSi members discussed at a special Brexit debate organised by Kingston Smith, (Morison KSi’s member firm in the UK) on 15 June, in London.

Joining the debating panel were Jean-Pierre Larroze, from Aplitec (one of Morison KSi’s firms in France) and Christian Clingen, from WTG (one of Morison KSi’s member firms in Germany). The discussion was chaired by former Senior Partner of Kingston Smith, Sir Michael Snyder. Jean-Pierre presented a strong case as to why the UK should leave the EU, whereas Christian argued the reasons for the UK to remain in the EU.

The debate, whilst being informative and an opportunity to share opinions on Brexit, was an excellent networking event for Kingston Smith and Morison KSi with over 150 people in attendance. This event was also an excellent showcasing of Morison KSi member firms collaborating on activities and key initiatives aside from typical client cases.

Other high profile speakers taking part in the debate were Lord Howard Flight, a Conservative politician and a member of the House of Lords who also holds various Director and Chairman positions in commercial organisations and Mark Boleat, Chairman of the Policy and Resources Committee at the City of London Corporation, leading on policy issues affecting London as a key international financial centre.

Thanks to Kingston Smith for organising the event and for welcoming fellow members to participate. If you were unable to attend the event, please use this link to watch the debate: http://www.kingstonsmith.co.uk/eu-debate/.
